Goods Waiver

We are excited to have you participate in the Greater Good Charities GOODS program this month! Each of you has signed up for 1-8 pallets of dog beds generously offered through this program.

The truck will be arriving Monday, July 22, 2024 at 16925 N Marketplace Blvd, Nampa, ID (Petsmart). We will be unloading the truck behind the store, and you will each be responsible for picking up all of your pallets at your assigned time. A portion of your $45 fee will be used to rent a forklift and operator to help load your pallets. It is going to be incredibly hot on Monday, so please be prompt and have enough volunteers and appropriate vehicles to load your pallets. We have a basic waiver we need signed by each of you prior to pickup. Once the waiver is signed, we will send you a signup sheet to pick a time to get your pallets. Three groups will be given priority to the first slots as they need a specific bed size: Boise Bully Breed Rescue, Happy Jack Cats, and Conrad Strays. The rest of the time slots are open to anyone.

After your waiver is submitted, sign-up times will be available on a shared spreadsheet on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you sign the waiver, the more options you will have on time slots.

3. I release and hold harmless Greater Good Charities, Lake Lowell Animal Rescue, and Petsmart, and any volunteers, employees, or affiliates of these groups from any liability in picking up, transporting, and using donated items.

4. I agree to thank Greater Good Charities, LLAR, and Petsmart Nampa in a Facebook post within one week of picking up the pallets.

5. I agree to send two clear, well-lit photographs of a rescue pet sitting on one of the donated beds along with a short write-up on how this donation has benefited your organization within one week of receiving the donation. These are vital for the post-grant write-ups we are required to do for the GOODS program.

6. I agree to send $45, no later than 11am on 7/20/2024, to one of the following online platforms: Venmo Melissa-Blackmer-2, PayPal Lakelowellanimalrescue@gmail.com, or you can use the Donate Button on our website at lakelowellanimalrescue.org. These funds will cover the $250 shipping cost, forklift rental, and the rest we will donate to the forklift operator. The rented forklift will be the only equipment used for unloading the pallets and loading everyone's vehicles. Each group is responsible for unloading their pallets at their destination.
